	Can’t wait for the big day?? Me neither! If you like surprises, you better click somewhere else, because I’m about to let you in on all the details...


			The ceremony will be held at 7 p.m. at our church, Westlake United Methodist. Frank leads music at the early service at WUMC and Stacy pretends to run the sound board, but really only knows how to mute Frank. WUMC is a beautiful rock building hidden in the mesquite brush -- be sure to watch for deer when you’re headed out to the church; they love to ambush unsuspecting drivers.

For an “Austin” themed wedding, nothing works better for the reception site than the Zilker Clubhouse overlooking the downtown skyline. We fell in love with this place last summer at our friend Amy and Joe’s wedding when we watched a huge, red moon rise over the city. There’s no air conditioning at the clubhouse, so please dress in comfortable garden party attire. The current plan is for the groomsmen to change into Hawaiian shirts as soon as the ceremony ends.



		Aunt Jill: Just like we practiced, Frank. I’ll wait right here and you leap across the dance floor to me...

The dress: Well, Frank’s not supposed to see that, now is he? You’ll just have to wait, too. I can say that it’s ivory, satin, and A-line, because Frank doesn’t really know what that means!

Frank and the groomsmen are wearing black tuxedos, but all plan on changing into Guayabera shirts for the reception so they can survive the July heat.

The bridesmaids are wearing a sage/cactus-green strapless dress. This one I can show you. Click HERE to see a pic of the dress. It’s the first one on the page.


	Attire: Thinking about what you should wear? Please dress COMFORTABLY and CASUALLY. Garden attire is perfect (short sleeve shirts, sundresses, etc.)


	Colors: To capture the vibrant fun-loving side of Austin, the flowers will be bright and colorful -- reds, oranges, blues -- and tons of Stacy’s favorite: Gerbera daisies. And for that “green” side of Austin, we’ll have cacti (nothing too painful) and succulents.






	Eats: We plan on serving an “evening picnic” of sorts. Plan to graze on mini cocktail sandwiches, antipasto, crisps and spreads, southwestern nachos, and fresh fruit. Our cake is baked and designed by the “Austin Cake Lady” and will look something like this:
